                                First Aid

This course teaches a wide range of first aid subjects including: treatment for burns, medical emergencies, bites and stings, cold and heat-related injuries, treatment of asthma, insect bites, cuts and scrapes, and fractures and specific illness. In addition, the Good Samaritan law and "How to respond in an Emergency" are discussed. The course is ideally suited for the General public as well as Scuba Divers, Rescue Divers, Dive Master, manufacturing companies, assisted living facilities, childcare providers, new parents, baby-sitters, church groups, Girl and Boy Scout troops, and general industry just to name a few.
